Andrew hawkins
Andrew is a first time writer/filmmaker with Masquerade. He is currently an associate producer on the Broadway-bound musical Home Street Home and co-director of Have A Sleepover Productions with his partner, Jeff Marx. Andrew studied Theater and English at George Mason University and has held positions at Fox 21, WestEnd Films, and the Cannes Film Festival.
JEFF MARX
Jeff co-created and co-wrote all the songs for the hit Broadway musical Avenue Q, which won 3 Tony Awards in 2004 including Best Musical. He co-wrote songs for Glee, Rick and Steve, Scrubs, and Broadway’s The Book of Mormon. He formed Have A Sleepover Productions with his partner Andrew Hawkins and is currently co-producing and co-writing the Broadway-bound musical Home Street Home.
KIMBERLeY BROWNING
Consulting Producer
Kimberley is a filmmaker and film festival programmer. She recently executive produced three television pilots for HBO Access, the network's diversity directors and writers development department. Kimberley is the founder and festival director of Hollywood Shorts Film Festival in Los Angeles, and an Associate Short Film Programmer at the TriBeCa Film Festival.
LEO STEED
Producer, Post Production Supervisor
Leo studied politics at UC Berkeley, performance at the Lee Strasburg Institute and producing at Santa Monica College. While living in Los Angeles he held several production positions, including two years at 21st Century Fox’s Post Production Division. Leo is currently a UX Designer in the tech industry and resides in Atlanta.
mauricio mena
Mauricio graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Political Science. Upon graduation, he held positions at Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox TV. In 2006, he earned a spot in the Fox Entertainment Group Diversity Writers Initiative. It was the first year the program accepted original television pilot scripts. Fox optioned his single camera sitcom for six months.The following year, he became a finalist in the Disney/ABC Television Writing Fellowship.
MICHAEL TOSCANO
Michael is a New York city based producer and 1st assistant director who has made eight feature films and many many shorts. He has an MFA from Columbia University and a BA from Ithaca College. He is proud to have made Masquerade in his home town of Alexandria, VA.
PATRICK MAGILL
Patrick currently works at Netflix. Prior, Patrick worked at Fox 21, in their creative affairs department, after spending over a year in their business affairs division. He studied Theater at George Mason University before working professionally in talent management and as an equity stage manager in Washington, DC.
